我叫小明，今年十岁。

Wǒ jiào Xiǎomíng, jīnnián shí suì.

My name is Xiaoming, and I am ten years old this year.

我家住在一个小村子里。

Wǒ jiā zhù zài yí ge xiǎo cūnzi lǐ.

My family lives in a small village.

村子旁边有一座大山。

Cūnzi pángbiān yǒu yí zuò dà shān.

Next to the village there is a big mountain.

每天晚上，山里都很黑。
