Wǒ jiào Xiǎomíng, jīnnián shí suì.

My name is Xiaoming, and I am ten years old this year.

我住在山里的小村庄。

Wǒ zhù zài shān lǐ de xiǎo cūnzhuāng.

I live in a small village in the mountains.

我从来没有见过大海。

Wǒ cónglái méiyǒu jiànguò dà hǎi.

I have never seen the ocean.

上个星期，爸爸说要带我去海边。

Shàng ge xīngqī, bàba shuō yào dài wǒ qù hǎibiān.

Last week, Dad said he would take me to the seaside.

我高兴得跳了起来。

Wǒ gāoxìng de tiào le qǐlái.

I was so happy that I jumped up.

我们坐了很久的火车。

Wǒmen zuò le hěn jiǔ de huǒchē.

We took the train for a long time.

火车外面有很多绿色的树。
